Creating groups of students can for example be useful if you don't want to share an assignment with the whole class, or if you have students that work on different levels of difficulty. Here's how to do it in Magma Math!

  • Go to the Students-tab, choose your class, and go to Groups.

  • Click New Group.

  • Choose a name for your group and click Save.

  • To add students, click on the group, and then Add student.

  • Select the students you want to add and click Save.

2.

If you are sharing the class that the group belongs to with another teacher, the both of you will automatically have access to all the groups that are created within the class.

  • To find the group when handing out an assignment, click the arrow next to the class.

If you need any help getting started with your classes and groups, write to us in the chat and we'll help you!😄
