Commercial Permitting Workshop for Lahaina Businesses on February 18, 2026

On February 18, 2026, the County of Maui Office of Recovery hosted a Commercial Permitting Workshop to support Lahaina business owners and commercial property owners navigating the rebuilding process following the 2023 Maui wildfires. The in-person session, held at Morgado Hall at the MACC, brought together County representatives, permitting experts, and members of the business community for an afternoon of guidance and information sharing.

The workshop was designed to help business owners better understand the County’s permitting process, clarify current recovery guidelines, and connect directly with key resources supporting commercial rebuilding efforts in Lahaina. Attendees had the opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, and gain clarity on next steps for moving projects forward.
