Emergency Funds:
Ensure you have access to funds (cash or a school credit card) for unexpected or unplanned expenses, such as:

  • Taxis

  • Medication or doctor’s visits

  • Replacement gloves, ski trousers, or other items

  • If applicable, these expenses can often be claimed back through insurance. However, please read your travel insurance documents for full details.

Food Stops on Coach Journeys:
If travelling by coach, ensure your group has enough money for food at scheduled stops.

Student Spending Money:

  • Generally speaking, all essential trip elements are included in the price. Please check your proposal for full details. A copy of your Proposal is on your SLIC page.

  • Students may wish to bring extra money for drinks, snacks, pizzas, and souvenirs.

  • Some schools opt to run a "school bank" to help students manage their money, but this is entirely optional.

  • Security of Funds:
Safes are available in rooms or at hotel receptions for secure storage of money and valuables.
