The first step is to ensure you post consistently. Whether that's around 3-5 posts per week, or once or twice a day, consistency is your biggest friend. Choose a time and day and stick to posting your content around that time. Do also make use of Stories if you can - try for around two per day, more if you feel like it. By being consistent, your followers know what to expect from you on social media.

Next, ensure you are sharing quality content, which includes taking great images and videos. Create purposeful content. Bring your company to life through your feed and share content of interest to your potential audience.

Be responsive - if someone mentions you, messages you or comments on one of your posts, aim to respond as promptly as possible.

The next step is to engage with other people's content. This is a great way to increase your following because when you engage with content, the people who created it are more likely to engage with yours.

Lastly, be sure to have a great bio so people can immediately see what you offer; review the hashtags you're using, as they allow people to easily follow topics they are interested in and should therefore lead them to your posts; and don't forget to tag your locations too, to let your customers know where you are!
