Home Charging Reimbursement Process:
Each person should use their company charging card when charging at home
The employer will reimburse the electricity costs to the employee whose home charger is being used, typically based on the CREG tariff
The partner using the home charging station from another company will pay the public rates.
Important Considerations:
The person who owns/rents the house and has the home charger installed will be the one receiving the electricity bill.
When their partner uses the home charger with their company card, the charging session will be billed to the partner's company, but the electricity cost is still paid by the homeowner.
Best Practice Solution:
The home charger should be set as "semi-public" to allow both partners to use it with their respective company cards.
The "public" tariff should be set to the CREG rate to ensure proper cost allocation.
This setup ensures that each company pays for their employee's charging sessions while the homeowner receives proper reimbursement for the electricity used.
Cost allocation when employees and their partners use a shared home charger with different company charging cards.
