McGee & Co.'s Return Policies

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't quite right, here's how returns work at McGee & Co.

Return window

Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, as long as they aren't marked final sale. Items should be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.

How to start a return

Once your order is delivered, head to the returns portal and follow the prompts to generate a prepaid return label. A few notes on labels:

  • One prepaid label covers all items from the same order — you can pack them in one box.

  • Items from different orders must be returned in separate boxes, each with its own label.

  • Packages sent without the proper label, or with postage due, are returned to sender.

Final sale

Final sale items can't be returned or exchanged. You'll see the "final sale" label on the product page (below "Add to Cart") and in your cart. Customized lighting is also final sale.

Return shipping

You're responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original and expedited shipping charges are non-refundable, except in those same cases — where they may be refunded to your original payment method or offered as store credit.

Furniture & large items

Select furniture, artwork, mirrors, and freight (9x12) rugs are returned through our partner Sharetown:

  • Eligible for individual items priced $500 or more, within 30 days of delivery.

  • Submit the online return form; Sharetown will contact you to schedule a pickup.

  • Your refund is processed within 5–7 business days of pickup.

  • Made-to-order items can't be returned.

Restocking fees

A 15% restocking fee (based on retail price) applies to furniture, lighting, and rugs.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method and don't include shipping and handling. If you choose store credit, it's issued once we receive and approve your return, and it can't later be moved back to a card. After we receive your return, allow:

  • 3–5 business days for inspection and processing, then

  • 5–7 business days for the refund to post to your account.

You'll get an email confirmation once your refund or store credit is issued.

Packaging

Pack returns securely — we don't provide replacement boxes, and returns are made at your own risk. Items damaged in return transit due to improper packaging may not be eligible for a refund.
