Duplicate Charge, Multiple Charges, Bank Charge

If you notice a duplicate charge on your bank statement after making a purchase or receiving a refund, please don't be concerned. This is most likely an authorization (pending charge) rather than an actual charge.

For example, when you make a payment using a credit card for certain services, your credit card company may authorize your card before the funds are withdrawn. In such cases, the authorization will appear on your bank statement alongside the actual charge. This authorization should be removed from your account within 3-5 business days.

Similarly, when receiving a refund, you might see it as a pending charge. This is typically an authorization that will be removed once your bank completes the refund processing.
