"Missent" typically refers to the postal office accidentally sending it to the wrong postal branch or the wrong mail delivery truck. It doesn't however mean that it’s lost. This typically resolves itself, and gets scanned as it is, when the carrier catches the mistake and from there, it should be routed correctly.
