You have full control over who can view and edit your dashboards by adjusting permission settings. Whether you want to keep a dashboard private, share it with specific team members, or grant full editing access, you can easily manage access levels to fit your needs.
How to Share Your Dashboard or Keep It Private
Dashboards are identified by different icons to indicate their status:
Star icon β β Your default dashboard
Person icon π€ β Your personal dashboard
No icon β A shared dashboard
Click the dropdown menu displaying your available dashboard titles. Then, select "Manage My Dashboards" from the list to view and manage all your dashboard permissions.
A side panel will appear, displaying all your available dashboards, categorized as Team and Personal for easy identification. To share a dashboard, click on the three-dot menu next to the desired dashboard. A dropdown menu will appear, where you can select the option to Share with Your Team.
Once you've shared the dashboard, your team will have access to it, making collaboration easier and more efficient. You can always manage sharing settings later if you need to make changes.
How to grant other users access to edit dashboards they are shared on
To allow other users to edit widgets and data in the dashboard(s) they are shared on they will need the "Edit Custom Dashboards" permission enabled on their user permissions settings:
