Measure Studio’s public data feature lets you monitor the performance of any public Instagram and TikTok account and benchmark it against your own. This is a great way to stay informed about what’s working for others in your industry—without needing access to their account credentials. In this article, we’ll show you how to add public accounts so you can start comparing analytics and uncovering insights.
How to Add a Public Account
To add a public account in Measure Studio, click the dropdown menu from your name in the upper right corner and select “Manage Social Accounts.”
Next, click the Add Account button, then select the Public option from the dropdown menu to add a competitor's Instagram account.
A pop-up will appear where you can enter the URL of the Instagram account you want to track.
Once you’ve added the account, Measure Studio will begin syncing the data, which may take up to 24 hours to complete.
Once Measure Studio has finished syncing the data, you’ll be able to view the the public Instagram accounts posts, analyze performance metrics, and include the account in dashboards, post groups, comparisons, and reports—just like you would with your own accounts.
