Working with influencers but don’t have access to their account analytics? Whether you're running a paid partnership, managing a roster of creators, or evaluating new talent, our Public Data feature lets you track performance and engagement—without needing authentication.
This feature is especially useful when:
An influencer can't or won't authenticate their account
You're managing multiple influencer relationships and need consistent reporting
You're scouting new talent and want to assess their performance
You want to independently verify how branded content is performing
With Public Data, you can easily track influencer activity and campaign success in one place—no login required from the creator.
What You Can See with Public Data
Our Public Data feature pulls in key publicly available metrics so you can monitor:
Post engagement (likes, comments, shares, views)
Posting frequency
Top-performing posts
Engagement patterns over time
While private metrics like reach or story views aren’t included, the data is more than enough to analyze influencer performance and campaign effectiveness.
How to Track an Influencer Using Public Data
To add a influencer account to Measure Studio, click on the drop down menu from your name in the upper right corner and select "Manage Social Accounts."
Next, click the Add Account button, then select the Public option from the dropdown menu to add a competitor's account.
A pop-up will appear where you can enter the URL of the account you want to track.
Once you’ve added the account, Measure Studio will begin syncing the data, which may take up to 24 hours to complete.
Once Measure Studio has finished syncing the data, you’ll be able to view the influencers posts, analyze performance metrics, and include the account in dashboards, post groups, comparisons, and reports—just like you would with your own accounts.
Accounts tracked this way will be clearly labeled so you know they’re being pulled from public data only.
Good to Know
Public Data only includes metrics that are visible to anyone
This is currently only for Instagram and TikTok, and must be a public account.
If you later gain access to an influencer account, you can switch to full authenticated tracking at any time
Our Public Data feature gives you the freedom to manage influencer relationships with clarity—no passwords or permissions required. Start tracking today and stay on top of every partnership, authenticated or not.
