What you’re seeing

You may notice that Total Views are no longer showing at the post level, or that the Instagram Total Views widget isn’t populating within Post Groups. This is expected behavior and not an issue with your data.

What changed?

We’ve removed the Views – Total metric at the post level.

Instagram does not provide Views - Paid post-level data through their API. Because of this limitation, we’re unable to:

  • Separate organic and paid views

  • Confirm whether a post includes paid views at all

In some cases, this caused Total Views to return N/A. To avoid confusion, we’ve removed Total Views at the post level.

How this affects Post Groups

Because Views – Total is no longer supported at the post level, the Instagram Total Views widget will not populate within Post Groups.

This is expected and does not require any action on your end.

Where can I still see Total Views?

You can still access Views – Total at the account level.

Account-level views provide a more accurate picture of overall performance and are not impacted by the same data limitations seen at the post level.

In summary

  • Total Views have been removed at the post level

  • This helps prevent confusion when Total Views would return N/A

  • Instagram Total Views widgets will not populate in Post Groups

  • Total Views are still available at the account level
