Measure Studio's Archer AI is now available over MCP (Model Context Protocol). That means you can pull your social analytics into any MCP-compatible client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Perplexity, etc. — and have it generate slides, search posts, build reports, and more, right from the chat you're already using.
This guide walks through connecting to Claude. Steps for other clients are similar.
Before you start
Permissions: you'll connect with your Measure Studio user account. The MCP integration sees the same data and respects the same permissions you can see with your normal login (e.g. you can only edit reports you authored, unless you have Manage Reports).
You'll need: your Measure Studio account logged in and open, your Claude account logged in and open (either via Claude Desktop or your browser).
1. Add the MCP server in Claude
Open Claude → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name it "Measure Studio"
Set the URL to:
https://app.measure.studio/mcpSave.
Claude Desktop will pop up the Measure Studio login screen in your browser.
2. Sign in & approve
Sign in with your Measure Studio account.
On the consent screen, click Authorize to let Claude Desktop access your data.
The browser will redirect back to Claude Desktop and the connector will show as Connected.
3. Enable all tools at once (recommended)
Claude exposes ~30 Measure Studio tools (search posts, list accounts, create slides, build reports, demographic charts, etc). When you first start chatting, Claude will ask permission to use each tool one by one — that gets noisy fast.
Save yourself the interruptions:
Click the Measure Studio connector card in the chat (or open Settings → Connectors → Measure Studio).
Find the Tools section.
Click Allow all (or toggle each tool's permission to "Always allow").
After this, Archer can fetch data and build slides without prompting you mid-flow.
4. Try it
In a Claude chat, ask something like:
"Show me my top Instagram posts last month."
"Build a slide comparing engagement on YouTube vs TikTok in Q1."
"Create a report called 'April Recap' and add a slide of follower growth across all platforms."
Claude will use the Measure Studio tools to fetch the data and respond. When it creates slides, it'll share a link to view them in Reports → My AI reports.
How sessions and reports work
Slides Claude creates land in an auto-generated report inside Measure Studio, which you can find in Reports under the "My AI reports" folder.
You can ask Claude to create a named report ("start a new report called Q1 Recap") — it'll use that one going forward.
The auto-generated report is shared across your Claude chats by default. To start fresh, you can either ask Claude to "create a new report" or rename the current one.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't connect": make sure the URL is exactly
https://app.measure.studio/mcpand you finished the browser sign-in."This tool requires approval" appears every time: you missed step 3 — open the connector settings and switch the tool's permission to Always allow.
Slides aren't showing inline in Claude: that's expected — Claude Desktop doesn't render Measure Studio slides inline. Click the View in Measure Studio link Archer provides to open the report.
Permission denied editing a report: you can only modify reports you authored, unless you have the Manage Reports permission. Ask an admin or create your own report.
