What are Archer Templates?
Archer Templates let you save a prompt once and reuse it as often as you need. Instead of rewriting the same request for every account or reporting period, build your prompt once and use placeholders for the details that change.
Templates are shared across your entire account, so a template created by one teammate is available to everyone. However, chats created when running a template remain private to each person.
Why use templates?
Consistency: Give your team a reliable, repeatable prompt instead of having everyone start from scratch.
Speed: Save time by reusing prompts you run frequently. Just fill in the variables and go.
Flexibility: Turn account, platform, metric, date range, or other changing details into variables, so one template can support multiple use cases.
Shared access: Templates are available account-wide, making your team's best prompts easy for everyone to find and reuse.
How to create a template
Click the Archer icon in the left menu.
Select Prompt Templates.
Browse the library of premade templates, or select New Template to create your own.
Give your template a clear, descriptive name so your team can easily find it.
Add a description explaining what the template does and when it should be used.
6. Write your prompt. Use the @ symbol to tag any account, platform, metric, date range, or other detail that may change each time the template is run.
7. Save your template. You can also save it as a preset to reuse your setup without rebuilding it later.
How to run a template
Open Prompt Template from the Archer icon in the left menu.
Select the template you want to use from the library.
Fill in each tagged variable when prompted, such as the account, platform, or date range.
Run the prompt. Archer generates the response using the details you provided.
Good to know
Templates are shared: Templates you create are visible to everyone on your account, so use clear names and descriptions to help teammates understand when to use them.
Chats stay private: Teammates can access and reuse your template, but they cannot see the conversations created when you run it.
Presets save your setup: Presets remember your filled-in variables, so you can quickly reuse the same setup without entering everything again.
