To link an Instagram account to Measure.Studio, the account must have the following:
Be upgraded to an Instagram for Business or Creator account
Be linked to a Facebook Page
You must be logged in to a Facebook account that has admin permissions for the Facebook Page
Upgrade your Instagram account to a Business or Creator account
Anyone can upgrade their Instagram account to a Creator or Business account. This allows you to see advanced analytics on your Instagram posts and stories, in addition to other business-friendly features like contact buttons, and a simplified inbox.
To upgrade to a Business or Creator account, follow these steps:
Go to your profile and tap the menu icon on the top right corner.
Tap Settings.
Tap Account.
At the bottom of this view, you can see the option to Switch to a Professional Account . Click on this button and select either a Business or Creator account.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you switch to a Business or Creator account, make sure you select to connect the account to your official Facebook page. If you skip this step, you will not be able to authorize your account with us.

We know, it's a little weird that Instagram accounts have to be connected via Facebook for us to pull data to power your Measure.Studio account. Blame Zuck.
To connect a Facebook account, open Instagram on your mobile device. Next go to Settings > Account > Linked accounts.
From there, tap Facebook and link your Facebook Page. If you don't have a Facebook Page, you'll need to create on on Facebook. Click here for instructions on how to create a Facebook page.
Sometimes Facebook adds a random placeholder Page here. You may need to unlink it first and re-link your Page.

If you don't see your account after upgrading to a Business or Creator account, and confirming your Instagram account is properly linked to your Facebook Page, you need to confirm that you're logged into a Facebook account with admin access for the Page you connected the Instagram account to. If you're logged in to the wrong account, simply log out of Facebook, log back in to the correct account, and try connecting to Measure Studio once more.
Still having trouble? Ensure you have proper the proper permissions turned on.
1. Navigate to Manage Social Accounts here and click +Add Account
2. Click Sign in with Facebook under Instagram.
3. In the Facebook popup, click Edit previous settings.
4. Click Opt in to all current and future businesses then click Continue. Don't worry, you will be able to choose what accounts you connect in Measure Studio. This just prevents similar issues in the future.
5. Click Opt in to all current and future Pages then click Continue.
6. Click Opt in to all current and future Instagram Accounts then click Continue.
7. Click Save on the permissions list.
8. Click Got it. You'll now be taken back to Measure Studio where you can pick the accounts you wish to connect.
