Post Groups
Post groups offer a simple way to categorize and organize your posts by subject matter, post type, campaigns, product categories, and more.
This feature removes the hassle of manually tracking campaign content across multiple platforms, enabling you to measure everything in one unified place. By grouping similar posts, you gain valuable insights into the performance of different content categories, helping you identify what resonates with your audience and what doesn’t.
Auto-Grouping
With Auto-grouping, you can effortlessly program your groups to gather posts automatically, tailored to your specified criteria. This provides invaluable insight into identifying the most effective content and helps optimize content strategy across your accounts.
How Do I Create a Post Group?
To create a new group, navigate to the 'Post Groups' tab located in the left-hand navigation menu. Once there, click the '+ New Group' button.
A dialog box will appear, prompting you to name your group. After naming your group, click 'Save' to create it.
Once your group is created, you can begin adding posts manually
You can also add posts directly to the group within the Posts tab. Simply select desired posts and click the ellipsis (...) button next the the upper right corner. Then select group and choose the groups you would like to add these posts to.
How Do I Rename or Delete a Post Group?
To rename or delete a Post Group, start by navigating to the 'Post Groups' section in the menu. Once there, find the specific group you wish to rename or delete. Then, locate and click the ellipsis (...) button next to the group's name. A dropdown menu will appear, offering the options to either 'Rename' or 'Delete' the group. Choose the appropriate action to proceed.
How Do I Add Posts to New or Existing Groups?
To add posts to a group, navigate to the 'Posts' tab on the left side of the page. Here, hover over each post you want to add and click the checkbox to select them.
Once you've selected the desired posts, Then, locate and click the ellipsis (...) button next to tag button on the far right and click 'Group'
This will open the groups menu. Here you can select as many groups you would like to add these posts to, or create a new group. Then click 'Add to Groups', to save your selections.
What are Post Group Folders and How Do I Create Them?
Easily organize your post groups with the Post Groups Folder feature. Customize, manage, and arrange your post groups into folders for streamlined organization. Simplify comparison and management of post groups with this handy tool.
To make a Post Group folder, navigate to the 'Post Groups' tab located in the left-hand navigation menu. Once there, click on the 'New Folder Icon' on the top right corner.
A dialog box will appear, prompting you to name your folder. After naming your Folder, click 'Save' to create it.
Click into the folder and from here, click '+ Add Group'.
Now, select the Post Groups you would like to add to the folder buy clicking '+'. You also have the option to create a new group from here. Click 'Create Group' to save the group into this folder.
You are now able to conveniently organize your post groups into customizable folders, simplifying comparison and management of your Post Groups.
How to Use Group Comparisons
To use the Post Comparison feature, navigate to the 'Post Groups' tab located in the left-hand navigation menu. Once there, use the check boxes to select up to 10 groups that you would like to compare. Then select the 'Compare' button.
A graph will appear. At the top left, choose which platform you want to compare. Then, you have the option to choose what metric you wish to measure, such as watch time, views, impressions, and many more. You can then choose the date range that you would like to look at.
How to Setup Auto-Grouping
To set up Auto-grouping, start by creating your group. To do this navigate to the 'Post Groups' tab located in the left-hand navigation menu. Once there, click the '+ New Group' button.
A dialog box will appear, prompting you to name your group. After naming your group, click 'Save' to create it.
Once you've created your group, now click on the 'Auto-grouping' tab. From here, you'll find a range of filters at your disposal, allowing you to customize and program your search to pinpoint specific posts based on your criteria. You can auto group by:
Platform
Post type
Performance
Data Date Period
Post Groups
Accounts
Post Date Published
Video length
Video length
Post text: Finds posts based on keywords in the metadata.
Post tags: Finds posts using your internal tagging system.
Post content: Finds posts based on AI detection for objects, public figures, and emotional states.
AI Post Content: Objects, activities, celebrities, emotions and text detected in images and videos by AI.
Post Visibility: Takes a look at published, private, or deleted posts.
Paid Partnerships: Paid partnerships promoted with Meta's branded content tool.
Dark Post: Filter for posts that are ads that never lived organically on a account.
Boosted: Chooses posts that are purely organic or boosted posts.
Made for kids: Pertaining to children-oriented content on YouTube.
Post ID's and Post URLs: Filters content based on IDs or URLs.
Sort by: Organize your results by view, engagements, impressions, etc..
Once you've selected your filters for auto-grouping, hit "Save" to begin collecting posts. The system will then start finding posts that match your filters and populating them into the group, this will take a few minutes. Once ready, you'll see the relevant posts in the Posts section of the group and can build your custom dashboard, export data, or create a report.
