Med App creates a system where the burden of keeping some information up to date can be spread amongst the team (hospital admin, junior and senior clinicians).

The 2-way interactivity of the content allows for suggestions and feedback to be received, but still maintaining the central control of that information by the hospital.

Its about making sure the information is relevant, current and easy to find for people on the app.

Allow User Edits Without Admin Approval (Direct Wiki)

You can let users submit edits to articles via the app with, or without reviewing and approving those edits. Sometimes it will be appropriate to let users add edits directly to the article, and there is no need to wait for those edits to be approved before going live.

How to setup direct edits for an article:

  • Go into a rich text article

  • Click save article, a pop up will show with an option to allow user edits

  • Select whether you want to approve edits, or let users edit the article directly

How to add a direct edit to an article via the app:

  • Go into the article you want to edit

  • Hit the 'edit' button.

  • Make your edits and hit submit.

  • Done, your edits will now be live for everyone else on the app.
