Patients can store their credit or debit card details in the HICAPS Go app to allow them to pay their gap by simply tapping "Approve". However, if your patient wishes to pay with cash, follow the steps below to help them to process their payment.
Note: Paying with cash is only available for private health related payments (HICAPS)
1. Process the patient's payment as normal. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
2. When the patient receives the request for approval, they tap on "Pay Using" before approving the claim.
3. Tap "Pay in person".
4. Their payment method will be updated. They then tap "Approve" and pay you the gap in cash.
