Who sees my data?

Only the care team which you have selected during the consent process, and a select number of Huma staff known as GDPR super users will have access to your health data.  Health data is the sort of information you would usually share with your doctor such as test results, medication notes or physiological data.  GDPR super users will only access these records on a need-to-know basis, such as responding to information access requests.

Some other staff within Huma may have access to personal data such as email and phone number.  This does not include your health data, and is used for purposes such as customer support.

Data sharing

We are committed to protecting your personal data.

The NHS will use your personal identifiable health data for your own healthcare and for social care purposes only. Subject to your consent, the NHS may use your de-identified health data for healthcare research purposes and to improve NHS services.

Subject to your consent, Huma may use and share de-identified health data with third parties worldwide for research purposes and use the research results for its own purposes.

Your data will never be sold to third parties.

Withdrawing

You may withdraw your consent to the use of your data including your health data any time with effect for the future by sending an email to privacy@huma.com.
