This help guide walks you through how you can record Oxygen Saturation in the Huma mobile app

Updated over 3 years ago

Your blood oxygen level is a measure of how much oxygen your red blood cells are carrying. A normal level is typically between 95-100%. Use the pulse-oximeter device to monitor this vital parameter and share the results with your care team. Make sure you are not wearing any dark nail polish as it can cause inaccurate readings. If your oxygen level is below 92% please call 998.

How to record Oxygen Saturation

You will have been provided with a dedicated piece of hardware, a pulse oximeter, from your care team, to record your oxygen saturation.

If you are asked to record your Oxygen Saturation using this dedicated device, please do the following:

  1. Use the pulse oximeter provided to measure your Oxygen Saturation as instructed

  2. Open the Huma app and tap on the 'Add' button present on the Oxygen Saturation module

  3. Input the correct 'Date' and 'Time'

  4. Input the Oxygen Saturation reading displayed on your pulse oximeter

  5. Once done, tap 'Add'
