Some users may require assistance from a family member or friend while using the mobile & web applications. You can set this up by using the “Add a Helper” function within the web app.
There are two sets of instructions below, one for the you and one for your ‘helper’.
Steps
1. Go to the Profile section of the app.
2. Under the Helper Details heading, select Add a helper.
3. Read the information presented and click Continue.
4. In the next pop-up window, you will find information on what the helper has to do next. Make a note of the code provided and give it to your helper.
DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOUR HELPER HAS COMPLETED THE STEPS BELOW
5. The Helper should download the Huma app or access it on their computer.
6. Use the code the participant has just given you to create an account.
7. Complete legitimate interest & your data questions.
Once this is complete, the participant can click on My helper has created an account and proceed.
8. Lastly, enter the helper’s email address.
You have now added a helper.
