You can onboard patients to Huma via two key methods:
Invite Email
Invite Link
How do I access the Patient invite functionality?
Once you have logged into the Huma Clinician Portal:
Navigate to the right hand corner of the screen and click on your name
You will see an option named 'Invite patients'
Clicking on this displays the patient invite menu
1. How do I invite patients to Huma via Email?
To invite patients by email, simply do the following:
Enter or copy/paste the patient's Email address and tap the enter key on your keyboard for the email address to be accepted
You can invite multiple patients at once by entering more than one email address or by using the import CSV file feature
Once done, click on 'send invite'
You will see an on screen notification notifying you that the invite Email has been sent to the patient
The Huma invite email details two simple steps to be completed:
Step 1: Download the Huma patient app
Step 2: Click on the 'activate your account' button in the invite email after downloading the app, to activate their account and start registration
2. How do I invite patients to Huma via invite link?
To invite patients by invite link, simply do the following:
First select an appropriate expiry period. This is the length of time, the invite link will stay active for. It is defaulted to 7 days, but you have the option to change this to 24 hours, 72 hours or 1 year
Once you've selected an expiry length, click 'Copy Link'
You will see an on screen notification notifying you that the link has been copied to your clipboard
You can then share the invite link to patients via QR Code on a printed leaflet or SMS Text / WhatsApp message
Note, the Huma Clinician Portal does not provide built in SMS Text message / WhatsApp onboarding or generate QR Codes - this functionality must be sourced externally
