How do I create a patient record?

Step 1

Click on Create record. This will open the Create patient page.

Step 2

Enter the information required as shown below. Any field with asterisks is mandatory to be completed to successfully create a patient record.

Step 3

If incorrect or incomplete information is entered, then the field will be underlined and an error message may appear. If this occurs, please go back and enter the information correctly or complete any incomplete fields.

Step 4

Slide the Allowed to text and Allowed to email buttons according to the patient’s requests. Ensure that you ask the patient if they have any difficulties with accessibility and note this using the check box I have discussed accessibility needs with my patient. The mobile number has to be 11 digits.

Step 5

Once complete, click Activate.

Step 6

Clicking Activate generates an activation code, which needs to be communicated to the patient. If you want to text the activation code to the patient, then click on the Text code button. Please see Quick Guide 03 for further reference.

Step 7

You will be able to edit the patient details anytime by opening their record. See Quick Guide 04 for details.

Step 8

If you have started a new record unintentionally then you can click the Cancel button at any point and the information will not be stored.
