How to add external pages or redirects?

This is the most flexible module in the application, which you will freely customize according to your needs. The built-in HTML/CSS editor gives you a lot of possibilities for creating content with the option to set a dedicated look. Here everything depends on you and your ingenuity. You can create categories in it, which will appropriately divide the content according to its type or subject matter. This module also allows you to add links that redirect users to external sites, for example: advertising or information sites.

Within each of the added categories, you can add a page, written in HTML, or a link to an external site.

HTML/CSS Editor

To add a new HTML page in a category, from Create > Content, select WWW/Resources module in the side menu, then (+) Add new category. Name the new category, then select (+) Add HTML Website.

Creating a page requires naming it. This name will appear in the list of all created HTML sheets when you add more than one page in the module. If it is only one page, when you select that module in the menu, you will be immediately taken to the place where you will see the content you created.

In the Add New Web, in the top frame of the panel, you will see a text editor that allows you to enter content and add images. If you want to make changes to the HTML code, press < > to enter its editing. The content you enter can also be styled using CSS, but it requires knowledge of HTML and CSS programming:

Adding an external Website

To add an external link in a category, select (+) Add external website, then insert the URL of the link and its name. Adding one link will automatically take the user to the external site when he or she clicks on the Web module on the side menu.

If more than one link is added, the module will display a list with page titles, and clicking on the selected label will take the user to the external source:

NOTE!

Returning to step two Modules in the Create section, select the multiple dot next to the module name to enter its editing. There you will change its name and icon, as well as adjust the module to the content you want to convey in it:

Examples of using the WWW module

  • FAQ

In the WWW/Recources module, create categories with sub-pages on various topics. This is a great way to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions you expect from event attendees.

  • Promo Codes

Are your exhibitors and partners preparing special promotions for event attendees? Use this module to create a promotional area with discount codes. Insert graphics encouraging attendees to participate in the promotion along with links redirecting them to selected stores. Remember that each promotion requires adding rules and regulations.

  • Contests

Are you holding contests as part of an event and don't know where to put the rules and text encouraging participation? You can use this module to create a section with contests. This is where you will create sub-pages where everything will be clear, transparent and encourage people to play together.

  • Graphics

Do you need space to show advertising graphics, scientific posters or infographics to share with event participants? This module will allow you to do just that.

  • An event in multiple locations at once?

Does your conference require walking from building to building? Make it easy for your guests to navigate and learn about each location by posting information about each building and event taking place.

Have a successful event with Meeting Application!
