Encourage attendees to enjoy all the attractions and activities your event has to offer! Use the Treasure Hunt module and create QR codes, the scanning of which will translate into collecting points. Hide the codes in the venue, on a booth or show them at the end of the lecture. Let your participants compete for the prize for the most points!

Describe the legend of the Code Conqueror

In the first step, create a QR code conqueror scenario that matches the theme and type of event. In the Image for legend field, change the sample image to a dedicated graphic by clicking the Change button. Then, in the Description of the legend field, add a description and rules of the game:

The graphics and description of the game will be visible to event attendees on the mobile app, along with information about each code with scoring and the number of scans available:

PRO TIP

If you are organizing a festival, social event or entertainment event, you can create a simple field game where participants look for codes hidden on the event grounds. The codes can also be shared with participants after they complete a task, such as posting a photo from your booth on your social media profiles or leaving a business card for future contact.

If you are organizing a conference, you can encourage your attendees to take part in as many workshops and lectures as possible. You can place the code on a random slide of the presentation or make it available after the speech. Attendees may have the opportunity to scan the code and earn points for participation and thus be rewarded in an additional way.

Create a welcome screen

The welcome screen is the participant's first contact with the Tresure Hunt module. In the Image to enter field, replace the sample image file with a dedicated graphic. Next, add the name of the game, and finally a short description encouraging participants to take part in the game and collecting codes. You can hide the Welcome Screen by moving the slider to the left:

Welcome Screen will be shown to the participant once upon first entering the Treasure Hunt module. After clicking the Ok button, the participant will be taken to the module where he/she can scan codes and check the current results. In the upper right corner by clicking on the "i" icon, the participant can display the graphic and the rules of the game described in the section Legend of Treasure Hunt as many times as desired:

Adding QR codes

To generate a QR code, click (+) New code. In the new window, fill in all the fields marked with an *, i.e. specify the name of the code, the number of points the participant will earn after scanning it, and the limit of codes to be scanned. Then save the changes:

PRO TIP

To increase competition among participants, introduce a scoring gradation and determine the maximum number of possible scans for each code. This will give the most committed (or fastest running) participants a chance to accumulate enough points to win prizes.

Successively added and generated codes will be displayed with information about the number of points awarded under each code.

Once the codes have been added and assigned appropriate values, you can download them by clicking on the cloud icon with the down arrow. All added codes will be downloaded as a compressed folder. After unzipping it, you can print each of the codes:

Here, by clicking on the Tag icon, you can select the user group tags for which the module will be visible. You can choose a tag, from those created earlier in the Tag database section, or create a new one by clicking the label on the right:

Scoreboard - check who is the best

The results from the Treasure Hunt game play are collected by the system and made available in real time, in visual form, on external sites and in the Application.

Want to view the data with the results, in the administration panel go to the very bottom of the module, then copy the link and paste it into the browser. A new browser window will display a table of results with usernames, points scored and the time the last code was scanned:

Have a successful event with Meeting Application!
