Megan works where your team already works: inside Ashby.
With the Mega HR Chrome Extension installed, Megan becomes part of your existing Ashby workflow, helping you review candidates, surface AI scores, launch interviews, and manage job-level Mega settings without leaving your ATS.
Install the Mega HR Chrome Extension
To get started, install the Mega HR Chrome Extension.
After installing it:
Open the extension
Sign in with your Mega HR account
Keep the extension enabled in Chrome
Once you’re signed in, Megan will be available inside supported Ashby pages.
Where Megan appears in Ashby
After the extension is installed and you are signed in, Megan appears directly inside Ashby.
You’ll see a Megan button in the Ashby header that opens the Mega HR side panel. From there, Megan can stay connected to the page you’re viewing and provide updates based on the current job or candidate.
Megan also adds helpful actions directly into Ashby in places like:
Job pages
Candidate pipeline pages
Candidate profile slideouts
This means you can work inside Ashby as usual while Megan adds AI-powered actions and insights on top of your existing workflow.
Add Megan to the jobs you want supported
For Megan to fully work on a job, Megan must be added to that job in Ashby.
Make sure Megan’s Ashby user is included on every role where you want help with things like candidate review, interview actions, and job-level Mega settings.
If Megan is not enabled for a job, you may see a message in Ashby letting you know Mega HR is not enabled for that role yet.
What Megan can do inside Ashby
Depending on where you are in Ashby, Megan can add different tools and insights.
On candidate profiles
When you open a candidate profile in Ashby, you'll see:
Mega HR Actions dropdown
Call with Mega HR
Generate AI Interview Link
Mega Score
The Mega Score pill opens a detailed score breakdown so your team can review the reasoning behind the score.
On job pages
When viewing a job in Ashby, Megan can add:
Mega HR Job Settings button
This opens job-level Mega configuration for that role.
On candidate pipeline pages
When viewing a job’s candidate pipeline, Megan can surface:
Mega Scores directly on candidate cards
Mega HR Job Settings for the job
This makes it easier to review candidates at a glance without opening every profile individually.
Notifications
When Megan has an update, you’ll see a red notification dot on the Megan button in Ashby.
Open the Megan panel to review the update and continue working from there.
Your workflow stays in Ashby
Megan is designed to work on top of Ashby, not outside of it.
That means your team can keep using Ashby as the system of record while Megan adds AI-powered review, interview, and workflow support directly inside the pages you already use.
