🏆 What is Monthly Rising?
This is an outstanding character contest system held monthly by Melting.
At the end of each month, 50 new characters published between 00:00 on the 26th of the previous month and 23:59 on the 25th of the current month
are selected and announced.
Only public characters that have turned on [Challenge Rising] after creation are eligible for selection.
✨ How to Challenge Monthly Rising
1. Create a character
2. On the last step of the creation page, turn ON the [Challenge Rising] toggle & make the character public
3. Review and selection
4. Notification via email or push notification
5. When selected for Monthly Rising: receive Cones + start Rising character activity

✨ Rising Selection Criteria
Selection Targets
25 recommended for Favorability Mode / 25 recommended for Story Mode
* Both quantitative and qualitative data are comprehensively considered when selecting Rising characters.*
Attractiveness
Whether the settings and worldview attract user interest and can encourage conversation
Completeness
Whether the character personality is naturally reflected in the conversation flow, and whether character information such as settings, first encounter, and tags are written clearly and consistently
Visual Quality
Whether the character image clearly conveys the character personality and sufficiently expresses the atmosphere and charm
Suitability
Whether it does not violate Melting's creation guidelines and matches the values and atmosphere of the service
* If criteria are not met, only some may be selected rather than all 25.
📌 How to Participate in the Rising Contest
Characters created and in public status between 00:00 on the 26th of the previous month and 23:59 on the 25th of the current month are eligible.
e.g.) February Rising selection targets → Characters from January 26th 00:00 to February 25th 23:59
After completing character creation, you can apply directly through the [Challenge Rising] toggle at the end of the creation page.
You can apply regardless of whether the content is sensitive.
🚫 Privacy Conversion is Restricted
Once selected as Monthly Rising, the character must remain public for a certain period and converting to private is restricted.
This is the minimum standard to protect recommendation exposure and user experience.
However, if all of the following conditions are met, converting to private is possible:
The character has achieved revenue of 2,000 Cones or more
At least 3 months have passed since the selection date
Even if the above conditions are not met, if there are unavoidable reasons such as setting resets or sensitive issues, you can consult with the support team to convert to private.
🔒 Character Setting Changes Guide
Rising characters are operated based on the prompt (settings) at the time of selection.
This is a standard to protect the experience of users who remember and return to the character.
However, the decision on character settings always belongs to the creator.
When changes are needed, the support team will prioritize reflecting the creator's opinions and coordinate,
while considering the direction of settings and service context to achieve better results.
👥 The Support Team is With You
Characters selected for Monthly Rising will be continuously monitored and supported by the support team,
providing necessary assistance for connecting with more users and increasing revenue.When necessary, the support team (or Creator PD) may reach out through the creator's verified phone number,
email, etc. to discuss exposure strategies, feedback, planning directions, and more.
❗ Important Notes
If a character is made private during Monthly Rising operation, unrecovered advance Cones may be reclaimed.
Characters that violate Melting's operation guidelines (plagiarism, offensive expressions, etc.) may be made private and have revenue reclaimed after a report is received and verified by the operation team.
If there is prolonged inactivity, low user response, or sanctions due to service policy violations, the Rising selection may be revoked or removed from the monitoring list.
e.g.: Characters with no conversations for over 30 days, repeated failure to engage conversations, usage restrictions, etc.
Policies may change according to Melting's service conditions.
