カスタムカテゴリーを使用すると、エクスプロア検索で得た結果をさらに簡単にフィルタリングできます。
カスタムカテゴリーは、結果を絞り込んで分析および比較するためのフィルターとして適用できる、予め保存するブーリアンクエリです。カスタムカテゴリーはキーワード検索、アドバンス検索、かけ合わせ検索など、フィルターが使用可能な箇所であれば使用できます。おすすめの使い方は、保存された検索全般とともに、繰り返し使用するよう設定する方法ですが、単発検索による分析の際も便利です。
カスタムカテゴリーの作成方法
エクスプロア検索から「カスタムカテゴリー」のプルダウンメニューを選択します。
［カテゴリーを管理］を選択します。
［カスタムカテゴリーを作成］を選択します。
カテゴリー名をつけて、ブーリアンクエリを入力します。
不要なコンテンツ（プレスリリースなど）を除外するためにカスタムカテゴリーを使用される場合は、［結果から除外］をONにしてください。
［保存］を選択します。
新規で保存されたカテゴリーが［カスタムカテゴリー］のプルダウンメニューにて表示されます。カテゴリーを選択するだけで、フィルターとして検索に適用されます。複数のカスタムカテゴリーを同時に選択される場合、フィルターがORという扱いになるため、選択済中のカテゴリーのいずれかに一致する結果が表示されます。
カスタムカテゴリーは、検索からコンテンツを除外するためにも使用できます。例えば、全面的にプレスリリースとワイヤーリリースを検索から除外する場合は、除外するためのカスタムカテゴリーを作成してから、そのカスタムカテゴリーを複数の検索に適用できます。
［カテゴリーを管理］を選択後に表示されるページでは、既存のカテゴリーの編集、カテゴリーの新規作成、そしてカテゴリーの削除が可能です。
また、カテゴリーをラベルで整理することもできます。ラベルの作成、編集、削除を行い、カテゴリーに適用することで、簡単に整理し、チームメイト同士で協力することができます。
カスタムカテゴリーは、より詳細なコンテンツ分析に使用することもできます。例えばCoca-Colaの場合、Diet ColaやCola Zeroなど、異なる製品群を比較するためにカスタムカテゴリーを使用できます。カスタムカテゴリーを使用すると、怒りや興奮など、さまざまな感情的な反応に基づいてコンテンツをセグメント別に表示することもできます。
留意点：保存されたすべてのカスタムカテゴリーは、以下に示すように、エクスプロアホーム画面の［カスタムカテゴリー］タブにあります。このクイックアクセスにより、包含や除外から、削除とラベル付けの一括オプションまで、カテゴリータイプをすばやく編集できます。
