If you're using Flodesk to collect email subscribers, registrations, or payments, you can connect it to MemberVault to automatically add those contacts as members and grant them access to a product.
We have a direct integration with Flodesk, but it works in one direction only: MemberVault sends member information to Flodesk. It doesn't automatically send new Flodesk subscribers to your MV account.
If you'd like to use Flodesk forms or checkout to collect signups and then give those contacts access to a MemberVault product, you'll need to use Zapier to connect the two platforms.
How the Flodesk integration works
MemberVault's direct Flodesk integration allows you to send member information from MemberVault to your Flodesk account. For example, when someone signs up for a product in MemberVault, you can automatically add their name and email to a Flodesk audience or segment.
However, if someone signs up through a Flodesk form or checkout, that information won't automatically be sent back to MemberVault through the direct integration to grant them access to the product they signed up for.
Connecting Flodesk to MemberVault with Zapier
To send contacts from Flodesk to MemberVault, you can use Zapier to create an automated workflow that transfers their information between the two platforms.
Your Zap will generally follow this process:
Trigger: A new signup in Flodesk
Choose the appropriate Flodesk event, such as a new subscriber added to a segment, to trigger your Zap when someone signs up through your form or checkout.Action: Add a member to MemberVault
Use MemberVault as the action app in Zapier and select the event to "add user to product." Map the contact's name and email address to the corresponding MemberVault fields, and select the product they should access.Test your Zap
Run a test to make sure the contact's information is passed correctly to MemberVault and that the member receives the intended product access.
Once your Zap is published and turned on, new signups that meet your trigger conditions will be added to MemberVault automatically.
