Changing your Site's fonts from the system's default is now incredibly easy thanks to our new Google Fonts feature.

To adjust your Site's fonts, head to your admin menu and select Appearance > Branding.

There you will see a settings column titled 'Fonts' where you can set the desired font for your Header text and for your Body text.

You are also given the option to increase your default font size by percentage should you find the base size a little too small for your preference.

Here's an example of our MV Marketplace after we've made some font changes in our settings:

If you aren't certain of the fonts you wish to use, you can browse Google Fonts selection here and then return to your MV settings once you've found your desired font and select it from the drop-down menu.

A few friendly notes about using custom fonts:

  • If you want to revert your font choices back to the platform's default, you can always do so by scrolling to the top of the drop-down menu and selecting 'Default System Font'.

  • The size of your font will vary based on the Google Font that you select. Some fonts will be larger/smaller than others so you will need to consider this when selecting your desired fonts & font size.

  • While it can be super fun to pick really creative fonts, we urge you to select user-friendly fonts that make reading your content easy for all.

  • Test your newly selected fonts on both desktop and mobile - although a font choice might be great on a larger monitor, you may find that it offers a less than ideal reading experience on a mobile device.
