If you're looking to add FB Messenger to your MV site and wondering exactly how to do it, then look no further :)

You'll find the step-by-step instructions inside this article. The best part is the process is easy as it only takes a few steps from start to finish.

STEP 1:

First things first, you'll want to log into your Facebook business page in order to grab the embed code for your Facebook Messenger.

You'll want to open your settings. And then once you're in there, you'll see a menu in the left sidebar. Choose "Messaging":

STEP 2:

Scroll down to where it says "Add Messenger to your website" and click the "Get Started" button. Here's what it looks like when you're in Messenger settings:

STEP 3:

Follow the prompts to set it up and then copy the codes that it gives you. This will be the code that you'll add inside your MV account next:

Hot tip:

While going through the prompts in setting up your FB Messenger, you'll come across the box called Website Domain'.

You can add multiple domains but you need to be sure that it's being added correctly. You'll need to include the full URL address, including the https:// (Example: https://courses.vipmembervault.com)

STEP 4:

Now, let's log in to your MV account. Go to Settings > General. Then, scroll to the bottom until you find the 'Advanced Settings' area.

You'll need to click on it and the area will expand to give you more options.

There's a box called Custom JavaScript, and this is where you'll need to paste the embed code that you copied from Facebook.

Be sure to click save after you've pasted the code to ensure that your neat work is saved.

To see it in action, simply visit your MV site and you'll see the FB Messenger appear at the bottom corner of your site.

And you're done!! Yay! Enjoy your shiny new fully embedded FB Messenger right from within your MV site.

Troubleshooting:

If you've followed the steps outlined above to a T, but still having trouble embedding it into your MV site and getting it to show up, don't fret!

Here's a troubleshooting tip that you can try:

You'll want to head over to your Facebook page, and go to Settings > Advanced Messaging.

Next, go to Whitelisted Domains and add your MV site URL (https://yoursitename.vipmembervault.com). Voila! The FB Messenger will magically appear on your MV site.
