As they say, if a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it... 🌲

Getting ongoing traffic to your MemberVault is key to make the most of having everything in one place.

More sales that you didn't have to work for is a key benefit!

We recommend including links to your MV content in the body of your list emails too (i.e. to a product you mention, to a teaser module, or if sending to people you know have access to a product, linking to a module or a lesson), but not every email will have a place for that.

That's where opening the door to having the link to your MV outside of the body of the email comes in handy. (I talk about this more over on the Vault podcast. Check out the episode + transcript here.)

Here are 10 email examples from users to get you thinking of how to set this up for yourself!

Steve Knots - Adding a PS link

Why we like this - It's easy, it's flexible, and the full sentence linked makes it eye catching as well! Bonus points for real urgency and support in giving them the chance to upgrade before the price goes up.

What we'd add - A little arrow or in parenthesis after the link that lets them know that they'll get access to the massive upgraded version at the current price.

Vicky Glass - A permanent button

Why we like this - It's supportive! Subscribers can depend that those buttons will always be there for them, so they can self select when they are ready to dig deeper.

What we'd add - I'd probably change "Awesome Courses" to "Get My Help" which will likely trigger more curiosity, and is more general so it won't exclude people that aren't necessarily interested in courses.

Juci Kisistók - Another example of a permanent button

Why we like this - It's supportive! Subscribers can depend that the button will always be there for them, when they're ready to dig a little deeper on either "the goodies" or Juci's website.

What we'd add - I'd probably change "The" to "Your Goodies" to make it feel like the more personal option vs the website.

Diane Berkers - a fun breakdown of options her subscriber might be interested in

Why we like this - I mean, first off, can we talk about that graphic!? Eye catching, on brand, and also linked to her MV. Great mix of options for her subscribers!

What we'd add - I don't have anything to add here, which is rare! Possibly that the audio link goes to a teaser/public module in MV (rather than a direct audio file hosted in MV), to make it easier for people to click around her MV afterwards.

Nina Mills - Adding a supportive "how to X" breakdown with links

Why we like this - It's hecka actionable. It's supportive. It's topic specific, and customer centric. Don't make them hunt for how you can help them, lay it out on a silver platter!

What we'd add - The links go to landing pages rather than Nina's MV site, which takes away from the binge & buy aspect. I'm including this example because she's done a great job with the strategy + copy, but I'd recommend linking to the products in MV.

Jamie Russell - footer link to her MV site

Why we like this - Just like with the button examples above, it's supportive! Subscribers can depend that the link will be there for them when they need it.

What we'd add - I'd definitely add some white space buffer at the top between the line divider, and below to add space above the "all rights reserved" to make it feel more spacious, and help it stand out a bit more.

Jacqui Smith - both a permanent footer link AND a PS ⭐️⭐️

Why we like this - Jacqui is making it super easy for her subscribers to self-support, and get what they need with both a free and a paid product linked. (If you're curious, the "message me" goes to a FB chat. #Smart)

What we'd add - Because this email was talking up the Confident Planner Club, there was a link above the screenshot I took + the ones in the footer PS and permanent links. All go to the main product page, but Jacqui has a great teaser module for the product too...so I probably would have linked to THAT "get a peek inside" in the PS.

Madeleine Ravetta - 3 options to get her support

Why we like this - She's including a free, a "browse my offers" and a FB group option. All great ideas!

What we'd add - I'd snazz up the copy for the "browse my current offers", and sub out something outcome related for the "lots of them are also free". Free is compelling, but you know what's MORE compelling? I can help you with [desired outcome].

MemberVault - a permanent link to our MV

Why we like this - You didn't think I'd workshop OTHER people's emails without taking a peek at our own, did you? 😆 This is a block of conditional content (using Active Campaign), that shows different links, depending on the type of subscriber. It hasn't changed in *umm*....AT LEAST, a year.

What we'd add - A lot. It's pretty weak sauce. "Resources" <-- I mean, c'mon. 😅 Time to update, for sure! I'll likely go with a 3 options model, and be sure to link to a podcast transcript, a free resource and our unlimited plan (most likely).

And a bonus example, because you can include links to your MV in your PERSONAL work email as well (as opposed to the above list work emails).

Lisza Crisalle - short, to the point copy, linking to her MV

Why we like this - You're making it easy for the people you're interacting with, to learn more about you. Either to refer you, sign up with you, partner with you, etc.

What we'd add - From the copy in the email, I'd assume I'd be dropping into a product page called "The Business Toolbox", but instead you drop onto the main site, viewing all of the products. In conversion lingo, that loses "stickiness", or a clear connection, which = confused people. So I'd assume there is a high bounce rate on this link that could be fixed by having a clearer connection between the copy/where you land after you click.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their email footers with us! 🙏

And if you test one of these out, or try something new with YOUR MemberVault links in emails -- drop a screenshot over in the Collab on FB, so we can all ooh and ahh over your genius!

(Not sure how to get a link to share in your emails? Here's the easy breakdown on your options!).
