You can now include a navigation menu at the top of your MV to showcase the main areas you want your users and site visitors to check out. If you've been wanting to use MemberVault as your main website, this is a huge step in allowing you to do so!
To get started, click on "Appearance" and then "Navigation" in your MV admin dashboard.
Under "Navigation Settings" you can customize:
Items Alignment -- your Navigation Items will appear centered or aligned to the left depending on your preference
Header Size -- this will adjust the spacing of your header, including your logo, and is available in Small, Normal or Large
Pro Tip: If your logo does not fill the whole header space vertically and you'd like to make it bigger, check how much padding is appearing above and below your logo in your branding settings. Reducing the padding size will allow your logo to take up more vertical space in the header and appear larger.
Click "Add Item" to start populating your Navigation bar. There are five options you can add:
Home - this will navigate either to your MV marketplace (Main Products Page) OR if you have customized a different home page under General Account Settings it will lead there
Page - a drop down menu will appear where you can select a page you've created within MV (note that Inactive pages will not appear to your users or site visitors)
Blog - this will lead to your main blog page link, which you can customize under Blog Settings
Product - a drop down menu will appear where you can select a product you've created within MV (note that Inactive products will not appear to your users or site visitors)
Link - a separate field will appear that allows you to include any link you would like (i.e. to a main website, social media account, or external feature). You also have the option to set the link to open in a current tab or new tab.
Once you have added your navigation items, you can re-order them by using the arrows to the left of the item. Under "Action" you can click in to edit the item. This will give you the opportunity to change the name that appears in your menu, the type, or delete the item altogether.
