How to Use Offers

Offers is a great feature option if you'd like to have someone join your email list, or purchase something from you and you don't want to create a full MemberVault product for that sign up or purchase (i.e. an order bump on one of your products, or your newsletter landing page).

This feature is also a great option for people on our 5 Product or 15 Product plans as you can use Offers to sell or grow your list without using up one of your Product spaces. Please note that when people sign up/purchase thru an Offer, they will be added as a member in your MemberVault so those on a legacy plan that is capped on members will need to keep that in mind.

All MemberVault plans are able to create unlimited Offers. You can access the Offers feature by logging into your MemberVault admin, and going to Content > Offers in your side menu.

Watch the video tour below, or check out the screenshot/text walk thru below the video.

Offers uses almost the exact same format as our Product builder, minus the description, modules and lessons, so you'll be able to quickly jump in and create your offer(s).

When you create an Offer, you'll also find that you can trigger certain Actions like adding people to product(s), tagging them in your integrated email tool, sending yourself a notification, etc.

You need to choose at least one Action when setting up your Offer so that the person signing up for or purchasing your Offer gets access to whatever you're delivering in the Offer.

Below are some examples of what you might choose when setting up your Offer actions.

If you're delivering something via email, that also includes access to a bonus product that you already have in your MemberVault. Example of how you'd set that up in the screenshot below.

Once the person signs up for your offer, or purchases the offer, they'll be automatically added to the product in your MemberVault, tagged in your integrated email tool so that you can trigger an automated delivery/welcome email and MV will send you an email notification that someone has signed up/purchased your offer.

If you're delivering a bundle of products that are in your MemberVault. Example of how you'd set that up in the screenshot below.

Once the person signs up for your offer, or purchases the offer, they'll be automatically added to all of those products in your MemberVault, tagged in your integrated email tool so that you can trigger an automated delivery/welcome email and MV will send you an email notification that someone has signed up/purchased your offer.

If you're selling a 1:1 consultation or an application for your 1:1. Example of how you'd set that up in the screenshot below.

Once the person signs up for your offer, or purchases the offer they'll be tagged in your integrated email tool so that you can trigger an automated delivery/welcome email and MV will send you an email notification that someone has signed up/purchased your offer.

Offers do NOT show up on your public marketplace. People can only find and view your Offers by clicking on the Offer link, which you can share anywhere.

If you'd like to surface your Offer inside your MemberVault, we recommend options like your announcement bar, the secondary button of your welcome area, your footer, blog post(s) and inside the promo text for related products.

You can set up a hot leads Action for people who have clicked your Offer link, and choose how many times they need to have clicked the link before being tagged/sending yourself an email notification, etc.

You can grab the shareable link for your Offer by going to the gear icon at the top right corner of your Offer edit screen. If you'd like to customize your Offer link, we recommend our Link feature. Learn more about that here.

If you'd like to include a coupon inside your link, create the coupon first in your payment options, refresh your page and then click on the gear to pull up your link window. Click the little down arrow next to "(with coupon)".

See below the coupon added into the link:

You're also able to set your Offers as Active, Archived and Inactive. Again, your Offers will NOT show up your marketplace, regardless of the status you choose.

  • Inactive means that people will NOT be able to sign up or purchase thru your Offer.

  • Active means that people WILL be able to sign up or purchase thru your Offer.

  • Archived is the same as Active, and is simply a way for you to keep your Offers list more organized inside your admin view.

You can click on "Archived Offers" at any time to expand the view and see what Offers are in your Archived section.
