This helpful Canva tip is brought to you by one of our awesome users, Emma Weatherall. See the original post inside our Collaborative Facebook group here, and you can visit her website here.

Did you know that you can easily embed any of your Canva designs into your MemberVault products? Read on below to find out how!

1. In the Canva design view - click the top right-hand corner 'share' button (as though you were going to download)

2. Click the 3 dots 'More' underneath the download/share/ print options

3. Select the 'Embed' option icon

4. Click the purple 'Embed' button (this will make your design public - just know that!)

5. Then you'll be provided with an HTML embed code + a smart embed code. You'll want to choose the HTML embed code for this purpose.

6. Now that you have the embed code, navigate to the specific lesson in your product where you wish to add your tool and open the Lesson Text's source area code:

7. In the source code window, paste your embed code and click 'Save':

Congrats! You should now see the Canva PDF beautifully embedded into your lesson.

You should be good to go at this point but here are some extra things to keep in mind in case you'll want to go further in customizing the embedded Canva PDF:

  • The automatic embed code that Canva provides also places a link to the PDF below the embedded view. You can remove this in your MV lesson by deleting the link part from the HTML code.

  • Need to adjust the size of your PDF? You can easily change this inside the HTML of the MV lesson to your preferred sizing:

*Note that the embedded PDF view also has a link to share the PDF. There isn't a way to remove them that we're aware of at this moment.

HOT TIP: Adding the PDF inside your Teaser Module is a great way to let people have a peek at what they'll receive access to once they complete the purchase.

You can simply copy the PDF inside Canva and blur out some of the content because remember, once you embed the file, it will be publicly available to everyone! Check out how Emma did it for her Content that Converts Calendar product.
