Why Customize Review Links?

Wouldn’t it be helpful to know exactly who on your team brought in a review—and which service it was for? Now you can!

By customizing your Paige review request links, you can:

  • Automatically include your team member’s name in the suggested review message.

  • Customize the message to reflect the exact service or product the customer received.

  • Easily track performance by person and by service.

This makes it simpler to reward employees, improve specific services, and collect more meaningful reviews.

🔗 How to Build a Custom Review Request Link

Your basic Paige review link looks like this:

https://giveratings.com/your-business

To make it trackable and tailored, you can add two optional parts to the end of that link:

  1. ?rep= to track who made the sale.

  2. ?service= to reflect what the customer received.

To use both variables together you'd do ?rep=name&service=service

⚠️ Make sure to replace spaces in names or services with underscores (_) so the link works properly.

🧪 Examples

Let’s say your employee, John, just completed a Carpet Cleaning job. You’d create a link like:

https://giveratings.com/your-business?rep=John&service=Carpet_Cleaning

If your technician Maria handled a Window Washing job:

https://giveratings.com/your-business?rep=Maria&service=Window_Washing

This tells Paige to include John or Maria’s name in the suggested review, and also mention the specific service the customer got. It makes the message feel way more personal and relevant—so customers are more likely to follow through and leave a review.

🧠 Pro Tips for Custom Links

Goal

What to Add to Your Link

Track by sales or service rep

?rep=Employee_Name

Track by service or product sold

?service=Service_Name

Do both together

put a & between the two

Replace spaces

Use underscores like Pressure_Washing

You can create unlimited combinations of rep + service links. Just copy your main Paige link and adjust the rep and service names as needed.

📨 How to Use These Links

You can use these customized links:

  • In text messages to customers after the job is done

  • In follow-up emails from your sales or support team

  • On printed receipts or business cards

  • In staff-specific QR codes

Wherever you place them, Paige will take care of the rest—suggesting a review that’s already personalized with your team member's name and the service provided.

📈 What Happens After the Review?

If the customer submits the review without removing the suggested name or service, it will show up exactly as intended. You’ll be able to see which reviews mention which employees and services.

⚠️ In the future, we’ll be adding better tracking and reports inside Paige so you can sort and search by rep or service more easily!

🎯 Summary

To track who did the job and what the job was, just:

  1. Start with your Paige link:
    https://giveratings.com/your-business

  2. Add ?rep=Employee_Name (use underscores if needed)

  3. Add &service=Service_Name (again, use underscores instead of spaces)

  4. Share the link with the customer!

Example:

https://giveratings.com/your-business?rep=Jenny&service=Lawn_Care

Easy, right?
