What Does This Feature Do?

By connecting your Google-powered email (Gmail or Google Workspace), you can:

  • Send alerts directly from your own agency email.

  • Reply directly from your inbox to any email sent to clients.

  • Easily track all emails Paige sends on your behalf in your Sent folder.

  • Fully customize the look, text, and content of each type of alert sent to your clients.

  • Use "Merge Tags" to automatically add customized information to each email.

How to Connect Your Google Email (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Find the Email Settings Page

  1. Log in to your Paige account.

  2. Click Settings in the main left-side menu

  3. Click the White Label tab.

  4. Near the top-right, click Email Settings.

Step 2: Connect Your Google Account

  1. Click the Connect Google Account button.

  2. Follow the steps to log into your Gmail or Google Workspace account. (You must use Google's secure authentication.)

  3. Click Allow to give Paige permission to send emails.

Step 3: Verify Your Connection

  • Once done, your email address will display as the sender.

  • All Paige alerts will now come directly from your own email.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Paige only supports Gmail and Google Workspace emails.

  • SMTP setup (manual server settings) is not available.

  • As soon as you connect your Google email inbox, Paige will start using the custom templates from the section below. These templates will almost identically match the grey-label ones your clients were receiving previously, minus a few minor formatting changes.

  • If your Google account disconnects (e.g., after changing your password), Paige automatically switches back to the default templates and sending domain until you reconnect.

  • If you ever change the password connected to this Google account, you must then reconnect it back to this settings area of Paige to ensure Paige continues to send via your email inbox. Google breaks the integration when a password is changed.

How to Customize Email Templates

Step 1: Choose a Template to Customize

  1. From your Paige account, click SettingsWhite LabelEmail Settings.

  2. Select the template you'd like to edit from the dropdown. For convenience, we preloaded all existing standard templates into your account so you can make edits instead of rebuilding them from scratch.

Step 2: Use the Drag-and-Drop Editor

The editor is easy to use. Simply:

  • Drag blocks like text, images, and buttons to customize the look.

  • Edit fonts, colors, and overall layout.

Step 3: Insert Dynamic Information Using Merge Tags

Merge Tags insert dynamic content automatically. Here’s how to use them:

  • In the editor when inside a text block, click the Merge Tags dropdown to see available tags.

  • Only use tags provided in the dropdown for that specific template. (Not all tags work on every email.)

Merge Tags Explained (Definitions Table)

Here's what each merge tag does when used correctly in the templates that support them:

⚠️ Known Limitation:

  • Currently, the "Preview Email" feature does not use real business info. We’re actively working to improve this functionality soon, but until then, it will show test data!
