How to Set Up Custom Subdomain Settings in Paige
With Paige, agencies can set up their own custom subdomain settings to ensure that all client reports, links, and alerts are branded with their own domain. Follow these detailed steps to set up your custom subdomain.
Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Subdomain
1. Access White Label Settings in Paige
1. Log into your Paige account.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Click on White Label.
2. Set Your Custom Subdomain
1. Under the Custom Subdomain section, type in the full subdomain you want to use.
• For example, if your domain is abcagency.com and you want to log into Paige at ai.abcagency.com, set the subdomain value to ai.abcagency.com.
3. Configure DNS Settings with Your Domain Registrar
1. Go to your domain registrar (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).
2. Navigate to your domain’s DNS settings.
4. Add a CNAME Record
1. Add a new DNS record.
2. Select CNAME as the record type.
3. Set the Name to the first part of your subdomain.
4. Set the TTL settings to anything.
For example, if your subdomain is ai.abcagency.com, set the DNS record as follows:

5. Wait for DNS Propagation
• It can take up to 48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate across the web.

• Once the DNS changes are propagated, you can log into Paige using your custom subdomain.
• Please note that not all features will work with the custom subdomain, including our live chat widget to ensure we don't interact with your clients, and the Integrations tab to ensure your clients don't see the Paige Zapier integration
How to Add a CNAME Record in Popular Domain Registrars
GoDaddy
1. Log into your GoDaddy account.
2. Click on Domains and then Manage DNS next to your domain.
3. Scroll down to the Records section and click Add.
4. Select CNAME from the dropdown.
5. Enter ai in the Name field.
6. Enter app.localmarketingmanager.com in the Value field.
7. Click Save.
Namecheap
1. Log into your Namecheap account.
2. Select Domain List from the left sidebar and click the Manage button next to your domain.
3. Go to the Advanced DNS tab.
4. In the Host Records section, click Add New Record.
5. Choose CNAME Record from the type dropdown.
6. Enter ai in the Host field.
7. Enter app.localmarketingmanager.com in the Value field.
8. Click the green checkmark to save.
Bluehost
1. Log into your Bluehost account.
2. Click on Domains in the left-hand menu.
