We understand that completing a video interview can be a bit intimidating. This article will help you get more comfortable with this step of the admissions process. You can also watch the video at the end of this article to learn more about what to expect.

The 20-minute, one-way video interview can be done from your mobile device or computer. You will be asked three questions and be given two opportunities to record your answer.

During the video interview, we will be looking for four specific things:

  • Professionalism

  • Interest in the track you are applying for

  • Basic technical skills

  • English proficiency

Here are some tips to ensure you submit a successful interview:

  • Ensure you are in a professional environment (proper lighting and background, no interruptions).

  • Maintain eye contact with your webcam as you would a hiring manager.

  • Dress as you would for an in-person interview.

  • Be prepared to use the full 2 minutes for each answer - before you hit record, you might want to think through your answer and write down some important points you want to make in your response.

We hope these tips help you to be better prepared and more confident about this part of the process. You will be contacted once your video interview has been evaluated. Good luck!
