How to Add Coins Manually:

6 Items You Need to get started:

1. Asset Symbol/Ticker (i.e., BTC, ADA, XRP, etc.)

2. Quantity of coins or tokens purchased (i.e., the quantity)

3. Transaction Type (Buy, Sell, Deposit, Airdrop, etc.)

4. Exchange or Wallet where you purchased it or keep it now

5. Purchase price (could be avg. cost)

6. Date purchased

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. When you first launch Merlin, you will see the following message: “You haven’t connected any assets yet.”

  2. Click the “Add wallet/coins” button or click: “Add Assets” in upper right

  3. You can connect assets two different ways: 1) Automatically, through the API key or 2) Manually

  4. TO ADD ASSETS MANUALLY: Click “Add Assets Manually” Button and six empty text boxes should appear

  5. Enter the 6 items of information listed above:

    1. Asset Symbol/Ticker (i.e., BTC, ADA, XRP, etc.) – be sure to select the correct coin name (as they can have the same symbol)

    2. Quantity purchased (i.e., the quantity)

    3. Transaction Type (Buy, Sell, Deposit, Airdrop, etc.)

    4. Exchange or Wallet where you purchased it or keep it now (i.e., Kraken, Nano, etc.)

    5. The purchase price you paid (could be avg. cost)

    6. Date purchased (mm/dd/yyyy)

  6. Please verify all information is correct

  7. Click: “Save”

  8. To view newly added assets, click: “Assets” in upper left
