How to Edit Assets Manually:

Coin Edits allowed in Merlin:

  • Edit Cost Basis (Avg coin price)

  • Hide Coin from Asset list

  • Delete Coin from Asset list

  • Hide, Delete, Re-assign or Add a Single Transaction

  • Change or Re-assign Coin Ticker Symbol

Step-by-Step Instructions:

How to Edit Cost Basis (Avg Coin Price) [1:07 - 2:20]

  1. Identify which coin you would like to edit.

  2. Click on the Asset ticker symbol (ie XRP).

  3. Click on the EDIT COIN button in the "My Asset" section.

  4. Identify the incorrect transaction, click on the edit drop down menu.

  5. Click EDIT

  6. Enter the corrected price and then click the check mark to save.

  7. Wait for the "Saved Successfully" message before continuing.

How to Hide a Coin from the Asset List [2:20 - 3:08]

  1. From the "Assets" page, identify which coin you would like to hide.

  2. Click on the Asset ticker symbol.

  3. Click on EDIT COIN in "My Asset" section.

  4. Locate the asset’s global settings box (on right) and click the HIDE ASSET button.

  5. Wait for the "Asset Saved Successfully" message before continuing.

How to Unhide a Transaction from the Asset List [3:08 - 3:34]

  1. Click on the Asset ticker symbol.

  2. Click EDIT COIN in "My Asset" section.

  3. Click the "Hide" button once again, to unhide the transaction.

  4. Wait for the "Asset Saved Successfully" message before continuing.

How to Delete a Coin from the Asset List [3:35 - 4:39]

  1. Start on the "Asset" page and identify which coin you would like to delete.

  2. Click on the Asset ticker symbol.

  3. Click EDIT COIN in the "My Asset" section.

  4. Click REMOVE ASSET in the Token Information Box.

  5. Click the REMOVE COIN button.

How to Hide, Delete, Reassign, or Add a Transaction [4:40 - 8:35]

  1. From the "Assets" page, select the coin you would like to edit.

  2. Click the EDIT COIN button in "My Asset" section.

  3. Click the ADD TRANSACTION button to add a new asset transaction.

  4. Enter the quantity in the first box, select transaction type, enter the exchange or wallet where the coin is held, type in the average price of the coin, and select the date that it was purchased.

  5. Click the check mark to the right of the date box to accept the change.

  6. Wait for the "Created Successfully" message before continuing.

How to Reassign a Transaction [7:45 - 8:10]

  1. From the "Assets" page, select the coin you would like to edit.

  2. Click the EDIT COIN button in "My Asset" section.

  3. Click REASSIGN.

  4. Enter the correct ticker symbol the transaction belongs to and click SAVE.

  5. To finalize, click the REASSIGN button.

How to Edit the entire Cost Basis, without Changing Each Transaction [8:35 - 11:25]

  1. From the "Assets" page, identify which coin you would like to edit globally.

  2. Click the ticker symbol.

  3. Click EDIT COIN in "My Assets" section.

  4. Change the cost basis globally in the global settings box, by clicking the EDIT function on the "cost basis".

  5. You can now override the cost basis.

How to Change or Reassign a Coin Ticker Symbol [11:25 - 13:03]

  1. Start on the "Assets" page.

  2. Click the asset you would like to change.

  3. Click the EDIT COIN button in the "My Asset" section.

  4. Once the edit coin menu opens, reassign the ticker symbol in the global settings box.

  5. Now click SAVE.

  6. Wait for the "Overridden Symbol Successfully" message before continuing.
