Please note, in order to fully understand the content of this article, you’ll need to have the Advanced Deals setting enabled for your team.

When you open your calendar and hover over any of your shifts, you will see the blue button “Make Deal” at the bottom. If you click there, you will now see two new options:

  • Make Open Advanced Deal

  • Make Proposed Advanced Deal

These options, along with the usual Make Simple Deal, provide more flexibility in handling your shifts. Let’s see how they work!

Open Advanced Deal

Once you click it, the shift you selected will be immediately added to the offering set. You can:

  • Add notes to personalize the deal.

  • Offer your shifts as a Package Deal, open to anyone to apply for.

  • Use the "Add Shift" button to include multiple shifts in the same deal.

After finalizing your selection, click "Create Deal". You’ll see a confirmation pop-up: "Deal created successfully."

Proposed Advanced Deal

This option lets you create a proposed deal between you and a specific person. Steps include:

  1. Select one or more shifts using the "Add Shift" button.

  2. Add an optional note to personalize the proposal.

  3. Click "Create Deal" to finalize.

A confirmation pop-up will appear: "Deal created successfully."

Why Use Advanced Deals?

These new deal types are perfect for managing complex trades and providing more control over your shifts.

Please note that this behavior only applies to teams with the Advanced Deals feature enabled. If you'd like to activate this feature for your team, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.
