New "Residency" feature for Block Schedules

We’re excited to introduce the new “Residency” feature designed to simplify the process of tracking and updating PGY levels for your residents across academic years.

What Does This Feature Do?

The Residency feature allows you to:

  • Assign residents to their academic year by date

  • Automatically update and reflect their PGY Level (1, 2, or 3) in the system

  • Ensure consistency in Block Schedules year over year without manual changes

How to Use the Residency Feature

To start using this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Associates Tab at the organization level:

    • Navigate to the “Associates” section of your organization (not the team level).

  2. Edit an Associate:

    • Find and select the associate you'd like to update.

    • Click on the three dots next to their name and choose “Edit Associate.”

  3. Select the Residency Tab:

  4. Add Academic Year Information:

    • Click “Add Academic Year.”

    • Input the start dates for the residency period.

    • The system will use these dates to automatically determine and assign the correct PGY level.
