What are Workload modifiers?

We know that not all associates work the same number of hours or shifts. That’s where Workload Modifiers come in, a flexible tool in the Associates tab that helps make scheduling fair and accurate.

Workload Modifiers allow admins to set how much each associate should be scheduled, based on their FTE (Full-Time Equivalent). Instead of everyone being assigned the same amount of shifts, you can customize workloads to reflect part-time, full-time, or unique agreements.

How it Works

  • A Workload Modifier of 1.0 means a full workload (standard baseline).

  • A Workload Modifier of 0.5 means the associate will be scheduled for about half the number of shifts compared to someone set at 1.0.

  • You can also set other values, like 1.2 for those taking on extra responsibilities.

Why Use Workload Modifiers?

  • Ensure fair shift distribution across full-time and part-time staff.

  • Easily reflect changes in workload agreements over specific timeframes.

  • Reduce manual adjustments when creating or editing schedules.
