We’ve added a new feature that lets you start a chat directly inside a draft schedule. This makes it easier for editors and admins to collaborate on changes before publishing.
How It Works
Open the Draft Schedule
When you’re viewing a draft schedule, you’ll now see a button called Chat about schedule in the left-hand panel.Start a Conversation
Clicking this button will open the Schedule Internal Chat panel on the left side of your screen. Here, you can type and send messages to other schedule editors.Collaborate with Your Team
Once a message is posted, all editors can reply within the conversation. This helps you align on needed changes (for example, adding another physician to a month’s coverage) without leaving the schedule view.
Where to Find Your Conversations
All schedule-related chats are stored under the Meshages section. Each conversation is tagged as a Schedule conversation and includes the schedule name and date range. This way, you can always revisit past discussions, even after leaving the schedule view.
Key Notes
Conversations are only visible to schedule editors.
Chats are linked to the specific draft schedule where they were created.
Published schedules retain their history, so you can go back and review the discussion later.
