New - Deals 2.0!

Written by Marianela Davalos

The Bazaar just got a fresh upgrade!

Here is everything you need to know about the latest updates and how to create a deal step-by-step.

First Time Here? Meet the New Hover Tutorial

Navigating the new interface is a breeze. The very first time you visit the Bazaar, you will see a one-time tutorial pop up as soon as you hover your mouse over the section. It will quickly guide you through the visual changes so you can get straight to managing your time.

Step-by-Step: How to Create a Deal

The button previously known as "Make a Deal" has evolved. To get started, you will now look for the Swap shifts option.

1. Choose Your Deal Type

Once you click Swap shifts, you will be presented with two straightforward options depending on who you want to trade with:

  • With anyone qualified: (Formerly known as Open Advanced Deals) Select this if you want to put your shift up for grabs for anyone on the team who is eligible to cover it.

  • With specific people: (Formerly known as Proposed Advanced Deals) Select this if you already have a specific colleague (or group of colleagues) in mind for the swap.

2. Configure the Shift Details

After picking your deal type, follow these quick steps to build the swap:

  • Select your Team: Choose the specific team calendar the shift belongs to from the dropdown.

  • Add your Shifts: Click on the +add shifts button to open your schedule and select the shift(s) you want to trade or give away.

3. Assign and Finalize

  • If you chose With specific people, select the names of the proposed individuals who should receive the request. If you chose With anyone qualified, verify that it is open to "anyone."

Review the details and click the Create Deal button at the bottom of the window.

Confirmation

Once submitted successfully, a confirmation banner will appear at the top of your screen to let you know your request is live:

šŸŽ‰ Success: Deal successfully created!

Your team members will now be able to view, accept, or decline the offer directly from their own Bazaar dashboards. Happy scheduling!
