Want to test-drive Mesh AI without affecting your live roster? Both members and administrators can explore the platform's full suite of features using a Playground Team. This fictitious sandbox comes pre-populated with fake members, jobs, and shifts so you can test workflows entirely risk-free.
⏳ Heads Up: Playground teams are completely temporary and will automatically self-destruct 5 days after they are created.
How to Create Your Playground Team
Locate the Menu: On your Mesh AI home page, click the "+" icon right next to Associations.
2. Launch the Sandbox: Select "Add Playground Team" from the pop-up window.
3. Review the Team Template (Step 1): You will be guided through a standard two-step team setup. The first page is the template view, where regularly occurring shifts and jobs are defined. We have automatically pre-created several of these so you can see how they look.
4. Review the Roster (Step 2): The second step covers member management. In this playground, we have already added a handful of fake members with varying job qualifications.
Tip: You can jump back and forth between these configuration steps at any time using the "Prev" and "Next" arrows next to the "Setup" header.
Things to Try in Your Sandbox
Once you finish the quick setup, you can jump straight into exploring. To give you a realistic feel for the platform, we have pre-built two distinct schedules for you:
Current Week (Published): A live, active calendar showing what a finalized schedule looks like for your team.
Next Month (Unpublished): A draft schedule block filled with empty shifts waiting to be staffed.

We highly recommend navigating to the unpublished monthly schedule and clicking the "Autoschedule My Team" button. It is the best way to watch the Mesh AI optimization engine crunch the numbers and build a conflict-free schedule in real time!
