Create an export schedule if you want certain reports to be automatically exported at the same time every day, week, month, or year.

Step 1: Create the export target

  1. Go to Main menu > Exports > Targets.
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Choose whether you want to create a mail, FTP, or webhook target.

Create a mail target

  1. Under Name, enter a name to describe the person or group of people who will be receiving the export.
  2. Under To, enter the email address that you want the export to be sent to.
    - If you want to send the export to multiple email addresses, add each email address to the field and separate them with commas.
  3. Click Create.

Create an FTP target

Contact the integration partner to get the details for setting up the FTP target.

  1. Under Name, enter a name for the export target (for example, the name of the subfolder in the FTP server)
  2. Enter the URL that you want files to be uploaded to. Note: We recommend that you use an FTPS or SFTP URL; if you use a normal FTP URL, unencrypted files will be exchanged between Mews and your FTP server.
  3. Complete the Username, Password, and Mode fields.
  4. Click Create.

Note: Because we're a cloud-based system, we can't give you a list of IP addresses for your export server to whitelist.

Create a webhook target

  1. Under Name, enter a name to describe the person or group of people who will be receiving the export.
  2. In the URL field, enter the webhook URL.
  3. Click Create.

Step 2: Set up the report

  1. Open the report that you want to create an export schedule for.
  2. Click OK > Create export schedule.
  3. In the Report configuration section, choose how you want the report to be set up when it is exported.
    - Under Interval, choose the period of time that you want the report to pull data from.
  4. Click Save.

Step 3: Schedule the export

  1. In the Export schedule section, update the name of the export if necessary.
  2. Under Next start, choose the date and time that you want the export to start on.
  3. Under Frequency, select how often you want the report to be exported.
    - For example, if you chose July 11th at 12:00 as the Next start and daily frequency, the report will be exported next on July 12th at 12:00. If you select weekly frequency, the report will be exported next on July 18th at 12:00.
  4. Under Export target, select the target that you created in Step 1.
  5. Under Format, select the file format that you want the report to be exported in.
  6. Click Save.
    - To turn on the export schedule, select the Enabled checkbox and then click Save.
