At Miappi, we understand how important social listening can be when connecting with your customers, which is why we have introduced @Mentions for Twitter. The new feature allows you to capture what your audience are saying directly to you on this network.

@Mentions is when a user has included your official Twitter handle in their tweet post, which is slightly different from when they are talking about you by including a relevant hashtag.

If you'd like to see where users have Mentioned you online, you will be able to find this in the 'Tweets & Replies' section of your Twitter account. These will also appear in your notifications.

To begin collecting this content into Miappi , start by navigating to the Feeds section of the dashboard.

You will need to have an authenticated Twitter account (connected using your username and password). To do this, browse the My Feeds panel and select the Twitter icon. Click Connect and you will see a pop-up window prompting you to insert your username and password.

Once you've done this and have given Miappi permission to collect content from your twitter feed, you will then see the connected feed appear below.

To accept Twitter @Mentions toggle the speech-bubble icon so that this turns green.

Once you have activated @Mentions for this feed, you will then need to navigate to your Customize tab on the left-hand menu bar.

Once here, scroll to the bottom and select Advanced Options. Move to the Extra Content panel and turn on both your Show Retweets and Show Replies features.

Click Save. Now sit back, relax and watch your content start to appear in your Curate page.
