How do I update the photography on my restaurant's MICHELIN Guide page?

To update, add or delete photos on the page presenting your restaurant on MICHELIN Guide website and apps, connect to your personal image management space using the link at the end of the questionnaire we periodically send you.

  • If you have lost this link or it no longer works, please request it via the Contact Us form. You'll then receive an active personal link to download and manage your images.

  • If you have your link, simply click on the link sent to you to download the MICHELIN Guide (use a recent version of your browser: Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari).

Once on the platform, check in the top left-hand corner that you are on your establishment's page.


Add an image

  1. Click on "Add image" to start selecting photos stored on your computer.

  2. Drag and drop your photo or click on the icon to add a photo.

  3. For each photo, you must fill in the following fields:

    • "Subject": this is mandatory. By clicking on the relevant heading in the drop-down menu, different subjects are proposed.

    • "Photographer's name": enter the photographer's name as he/she wishes it to appear in the photo's copyright.

    Once you've completed the field(s), click on "Confirm".

    At this stage, if you wish to delete the visual before uploading, click on "Cancel" to cancel the photo upload.

  4. Once you have clicked on "Confirm", a progress bar appears, indicating that the upload is in progress.

    Photos must be between 100 KB and 5 MB in size. If this is not the case, the platform will let you know.

  5. Once the photo has been uploaded, you can :

    "Add a new photo": repeat step 3 for each photo you wish to upload

    or "Complete" to proceed to the next step.

    At this stage, if you wish to delete one or more images before continuing, click on "Delete" for each photo you wish to remove from the batch.

    You can also click on "Cancel the package" to delete all the images of the batch.

  6. Once all the photos have been added, click on "Complete" to proceed to the next step, which is mandatory to upload your photos.

  7. Please enter your name, job title and e-mail address.

    You will receive at this address a copy of the platform's Terms of Use, which you will have accepted.

  8. Please check the 2 boxes:

    • I agree the terms of use: validate the terms of use at the end of the text displayed.

    • I declare that I am the author of the photos or that I have obtained permission from the photographer.

    Please note: you will not be able to validate the submission until all mandatory fields have been filled and/or ticked.

    Once all fields have been filled in and ticked, click on "Confirm".

After each photo upload, an email is sent to the email address you provided to confirm the number of photos received on our servers.

Your photos are not immediately visible on our platforms. Validation by our services is necessary, and given the large number of photos received daily, this validation may take a few days.


Delete an image

If you already have images online illustrating your establishment on our MICHELIN Guide platforms, you'll find them on the accessible home page. Under each one, a "Delete" button allows you to delete them.

Please note: they will be immediately removed from all our MICHELIN Guide platforms.
